first_imgCrystal Palace and Leicester City appear to have missed out on Ngolo Kante.The midfielder is being chased by a number of Premier League clubs this summer after impressing for Caen in Ligue 1 last season.Palace and Leicester had both scouted the midfielder, with the Eagles also making an enquiry as to his availably.However, according to Le 10 Sport, Kante is now set for Marseille after they reached a verbal agreement with Caen.The 24-year-old is likely to come in as a direct replacement for Dimitri Payet, who is rumoured to be on the verge of a move to West Ham.Payet’s transfer will see Marseille receive around £12m, with £8m of that being used to purchase Kante and the rest being banked to ensure the club meets Financial Fair Play regulations. 1last_img read more
