first_imgBrussels – The Moroccan-Spanish relations are very strong and involve a vast array of fields, said on Monday in Brussels, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo.“Our relationship is very strong and touch on a vast array of issues, both politically and economically,” said Margallo after his meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Salaheddine Mezouar.Besides bilateral relations, the discussions turned on the decision taken on Monday by seven European countries to establish a Mediterranean Group in order to tackle shared problems for both sides of the Mare Nostrum, including immigration and Economic development, he said. This group, formed by Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Greece, Cyprus and Malta, will discuss with the countries of the southern Mediterranean, including Morocco, these various problems to find appropriate responses.last_img
