first_imgSix-time world champion MC Mary Kom (51kg) will lead the charge on Saturday as Lovlina Borgohain (69kg), Jamuna Boro (54kg) and Manju Rani (48kg) will all look to reach the finals in India’s best-ever overseas performance at AIBA Women’s World Championships in Ulan-Ude, Russia.Third-seeded Mary Kom (51kg), assured of an unparalleled eighth world medal, would be aiming for a seventh gold and standing in her way in the semifinals is Turkey’s European champion Busenaz Cakiroglu.
